But wait there’s more…

Just because I’m back in Boise (the other B-town) doesn’t mean the adventure has to end. Yep, that’s right, it’s an adventure…like the Goonies. Just without the treasure of a long dead mono-eyed pirate, booby traps, Sloth…or Baby Roooth?

Anyway. If you saw the last video of the room I looked at renting in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, these pictures are after that.

Walking across the Williamsburg Bridge.

Swamp Donkey!

The Williamsburg Bridge is pretty much encased in fence which is kind of unfortunate. The best bridge (out of the ones that I went over) to walk over was the Brooklyn Bridge. You’re actually above the traffic and it’s pretty cool to see. The Williamsburg bridge, however, is pretty different.

…still moderately picturesque but…just not quite as nice.

Some interesting graffiti -

Anway, after that I headed towards Central Park. On the way there, I saw Carnegie Hall, and interesting building and an ornate building. These buildings are ridiculously large. For the few of you reading this that have already been there and seen them, you know what I mean. For everyone else…everything is bigger. It’s ridiculous. Seriously, when I cam back to Boise, I thought someone had shrunk the city. It was weird how everything seemed so much smaller…

Eventually I made it to Central Park. Here are a few pictures of the park. There are many more pictures up in the Mac Gallery; New York City.

Then it was back onto 5th Ave, a ginormous Apple store…

…Tiffany’s, Trump Tower…

…and, of course, the Diesel store with an ad campaign that truly speaks to today’s consumers…

Then on to the Flatiron Building…

…and then possibly the World’s best burger. There’s a place in Chelsea called “brgr”…

…and I stole this image off of Google because when I finished I was so incredibly full that I didn’t remember to take a picture. I did, however, remember to take a picture of the burger.

Yep, that’s right…the receipt says $22. Twenty Two well-spent dollars for a coke, sweet potato fries, russet potato fries, “onion hay,” a veggie burger with gruyere, herb mayo, etc, and the best milkshake (blueberry-pomegranate) I’ve ever had. Easily the best twenty bucks I have ever spent. Of course, I hadn’t had anything else to eat all day but, still. If you’re in NYC, I highly recommend making it to Chelsea to hit up brgr. It’s epic.

After that, I went to the fake funeral of Matthew McConaughey at the UCBT. It’s was pretty hilarious. I bought tickets to go see ASSSSSSCAT on Sunday, a week and a half later, but that ended up being the weekend I flew back to Boise. Hopefully, I’ll eventually get clearance, get to go back to NYC, go to work, brgr, and UCBT.
