Monday in NYC. (Times Square I)

Since it is snowing whatever the snowing version of cats and dogs is outside, I guess I’ll update this with some pics of my Monday.

Breakfast…?

After the bagel and coffee, I walked to the Atlantic station to ride the Q to Times Square. I took some video of it but I’m still debating whether or not it is too ‘Blair Witch’ to actually put up here without making people sick. Anyway…Times Square.

They have these little art installations in the Times Square station. They’re not really my style but I thought it was kind of neat that they did it…of course, everyone just seems to rush by. It kind of makes you wonder how many other installations there are like this around this ginormous city that people ignore…

Then you walk out of the station and you’re pretty much all of your senses are assaulted. The screens are ridiculous and everywhere; there’s the smell of pizza and pretzels and that guy who just walked by you; you can hear advertisements and people talking everywhere…

“Oh…that? No…No, that wasn’t me.”

I’m assuming this was here just for Valentine’s Day…as when I walked back by it later in the day it was melting in the sun. …there’s probably an emo song in there somewhere…

Then I walked down 45th st (the US mission to the UN - the place I’ll hopefully be working eventually is on 45th during remodeling) and lo and behold there it was…Chipotle!

…the nicest one I’ve ever seen…

It was super tasty…

After that I kept walking till I found 5th Ave which, because I’ve heard of it before, I figured I’d walk along that some. We’ll save those for later. I took a few more pics of Times Square though and, as always you can see them at: New York City.
