Pics from the flea market in a bank.
So every Saturday they open the main floor of this building up to have a flea market. It’s actually really, really cool. The building itself is old and neat and relatively gorgeous on the inside. Also, the market is filled with stuff someone might actually buy not a bunch of broken crap like a New Mexican flea market. The items were old, but in a vintagey/kitsch kind of way…for example, nice vintage clothes…or old classy-looking watches that had been repaired and refurbished. Cool stuff.
So that’s all on the main level and the mezzanine…then (as the sign says) you can go downstairs to get cool “flea food”. It’s pretty interesting stuff to say the least. Everything from home grown coffee that you can grind right there to various sorts of cooking meat (the smoke fills the air) to a guy selling pickles. Anyway….that was the first part of my Saturday.
